Machine Tool Industry Summit 2026

Held once in two years, the Machine Tool Industry Summit provides a platform to the entire machine tool industry including the machine tool builders, sub-system suppliers, accessories and allied equipment manufacturers, vendors, R&D institutions, industry experts, and individuals to network, collate ideas, and set forth a process of organized thinking, analysis, and deliberations.

About 300 delegates from a wide spectrum of the machine tool industry participated in the summit. The 3-day summit featured thought provoking presentations and panel discussion from the Indian manufacturing and machine tool industry, which provided a platform for introspections, brainstorming and networking.

The inaugural session witnessed addresses by ‘Chief Guest’ Dr. Naushad Forbes, Co-Chairman, Forbes Marshall, Co-Chairman, Forbes Marshall Private Limited and Past President, Confederation of Indian Industry and ‘Guest of Honour’ Ms. Swati Salgaocar, Chairperson - Western Region, Confederation of Indian Industry and President, V.M. Salgaocar & Brother Private Limited.

This summit witnessed deliberations on various topics such as High-potential ‘sunrise’ manufacturing sectors, Transformation in process engineering, Operational excellence, and Impact of sustainability and ESG on future manufacturing growth and competitiveness, amongst others.
